Tungsten Set Screw

Tungsten has the highest melting point and lowest vapor pressure of all metals, and at temperatures over 1650C has the highest tensile strength.. It has excellent corrosion resistance and is attacked only slightly by most mineral acids. therefore tungsten is suitable for very high-temperature applications, such as LED, Semiconductor, heating elements in high temperature furnace.

The tungsten fasteners are mainly put into machine part use, especially in the chemical equipments and vacuum furnace.
